Plan Your Experience
A Basic Field Trip requires a minimum of two hours. It will include a 15-minute welcome, your choice of a 30-minute campus IKEtivity, and 60 minutes of museum exploration.
An Enhanced Field Trip requires a minimum of three hours. It will include a 15-minute welcome, your choice of a 30-minute campus IKEtivity, 60 minutes of museum exploration, and your choice of a 60-minute student program.
Each onsite field trip includes a 30-minute IKEtivity that encourages students and teachers to explore different features of the Eisenhower Presidential Library campus.
Each onsite field trip includes a one-hour guided tour of the Eisenhower Presidential Museum. You may choose from 3 format types:
Tell Us Everything– IKEducators will provide lots of information as they lead students through the museum.
Essential Questions– IKEducators will provide a short introducation and essential question for each gallery as they lead students through the museum.
Guide Books– Students use activity booklets to explore the museum independently. IKEducators remain available to answer questions.
