Poster: 'Save Scrap for Victory'
Sponsored by the Federal Art Project. Penna Art WPA. Philadelphia Salvage Committee and Council of Defense. Many posters were produced during World War II to instill in the people a sense of patriotism and to encourage all Americans to help with the war effort. The posters called upon every American to endure the personal sacrifice and domestic adjustments on the home front needed to win the war.
