Eisenhower giving speech outdoors
The proudest thing I can claim is that I am from Abilene.

-- General Dwight D. Eisenhower - Abilene Homecoming Speech, June 22, 1945

It’s no secret that Ike considered his greatest accomplishment to be his Kansas upbringing.

In honor of Ike's Kansas roots, the Eisenhower Foundation has partnered with the State of Kansas to offer tax credits to Kansans in exchange for a donation to our organization.

In simple terms, if you (or your business) owe the State of Kansas income tax, you can make a gift to the Eisenhower Foundation and your state income tax owed will be reduced by 50% of the value of your gift. These tax credits give you a choice as to how your tax dollars are put to work, and you can see the value of your contribution immediately with a gift to the nonprofit Eisenhower Foundation.

The tax credits are available to individual, corporate, and privilege taxpayers in the State of Kansas. A limited amount of tax credits are available. If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, it is strongly recommended that you visit with your tax advisor as soon as possible, so that you can decide what amount is right for your tax situation.

The Eisenhower Foundation, headquartered in Abilene, Kansas, is the 501c3 philanthropic organization that preserves and promotes Dwight D. Eisenhower's extraordinary legacy.

Donations must be received between January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2025, and tax credits are equal to 50% of the total contribution.

Any resident individual, corporate, or privilege taxpayer is eligible. Non-resident individual taxpayers do not qualify for the tax credit.

As a note, the amount of credit shall not exceed $25,000 for any resident individual taxpayer subject to the income tax or $50,000 for any taxpayer subject to the income tax on corporations or the privilege tax on financial institutions.
