At Home: A Comparison Of the Bookends of Ike's America

Program will run approximately 50 minutes.

Objective: This program will examine changes in American life from examining the beginning and end of Ike’s life at the two places Ike called home. It will answer the essential question: What can we learn about changes in American life by comparing the Boyhood and Retirement homes of Dwight D. Eisenhower?

Themes hit on within the National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies: Time, Continuity and Change; and Science, Technology, and Society
