Thanks to a matching gift challenge from the Beach-Edwards Family Foundation and generous donors across the country, this year's Giving Tuesday campaign was the most successful in the Eisenhower Foundation’s history.

The challenge was simple: if the Foundation met its $10,000 goal, the Beach-Edwards Family Foundation would match every dollar up to $10,000. Thanks to the overwhelming support of loyal donors, this goal was not only met in record time but nearly doubled, raising over $29,700.

Funds from this campaign will support Ike’s Field Trip Fund, which provides transportation grants to schools visiting the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene, Kansas, to participate in IKEducation programs.

This school year marks the first time since 2020 that student groups have been able to visit the Library and Museum. The demand for field trip grants has been high, with 17 applications already received and funded.

Thanks to the Beach-Edwards Family Foundation and hundreds of donors from 28 states and Washington, D.C., the Foundation will continue offering these grants, allowing students to learn about Dwight D. Eisenhower’s legacy and how he rose from a small-town boy to a global leader during one of history’s most challenging times.
