Biography
Bill was in the reserves during his college days at the University of Northern Colorado. On March 4, 1943, he was called to report to active duty. Bill entered the weather program and was commissioned on D-Day as a weather officer. He was sent to the Pacific after the atomic bombs were dropped. Bill's position was to oversee all of the Pacific Ocean weather communications.
