Harold Schmeidler

Harold "Harry" Schmeidler was born in Catherine, Ks and grew up on a farm. He attended Catharine Grade and graduated High School in 1944. Schmeidler attended St. Joseph Military Academy and served in the US Army during WW II. While in the service he was pegged as quiet and unassuming. Harry did his duty unobtrusively but efficiently. Because of his quiet ways, he in not well known but he holds a high place in his friends' esteem. After the war Schmeidler returned the farm, married Norma Jean Dechant and had three sons and two daughters. Courtesy of findagrave.com
