Thomas Dixon

Tom was drafted one week after his high school graduation. He was inducted into the Army at Fort Leavenworth. After basic training, he was to be shipped to Japan, but the atomic bomb was dropped, changing his orders. He ended up in Frankfort, Germany, as a clerk, where he met General Eisenhower.
