Biography

Henry Naruszenwicz was born January 3, 1916. He graduated from Johnson High School in North Andover, MA. He entered the army after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He was 26 yrs old, already married and had a daughter but as he stated "it was serious". Henry sailed in England and crossed the channel entering France at Omaha Beach. The aftermath of D-Day was still all around. Henry fought through with his unit becoming part of the Battle of the Bulge. Henry was recognized by the French Government with the French Medal of Honor and took the Honor Flight to Washington, DC where he visited the World War II Memorial.
