Biography
John Ayers was born in 1927 and grew up in Dickinson Co. Kansas. He attended 4 years of High School before entering the Army in Fort Leavenworth on 10/20/1941. Ayers had training in Camp Roberts CA according to records held by the Dickinson County Heritage Center and Museum.
