Biography
Henry Mathy was born in Toledo, Ohio. He moved with his family to Washington County, Kansas, and attended school through the eighth grade. Mathy entered the U.S. Army on November 9, 1942. He returned home, married Margaret, and lived in Fairbury, Nebraska.
