Miles Sawyer

As a young man, Miles enjoyed participation in the Rockland Sea Scouts. He then attended Maine Maritime Academy, graduating in the class of 1943-2. He joined the Merchant Marines followed by the Naval Reserves. During World War II, he served in the Atlantic and the Pacific.
