Herbert Albright was born in Herington, KS where he attended local schools. He joined the US Army in 1939 and served through the end of the war. After the war he worked on the railroad, in the oil fields and in book sales. He married Dolores and worked in CA as a executive to Montgomery Ward Automotive.
