Chester Ensworth was a resident of Abilene, Kansas and worked at Kansas Power and Light prior to enlistment in the Navy in October 1943 and was assigned service number 6559231. Enworth served in the Naval Construction Battalions, also known as the SeaBees. He was married to Loretta Marie Backes Ensworth, who was from Kansas, and they had three children and at least nine grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
