BIOGRAPHY

Vernon Herman Kaufman was born in Dorrance, KS. He was living in Kansas City, MO when he signed up for the selective service on July 20, 1942. Kaufman was working for North American Aviation Co at that time. The Army Air Corps was the branch of service Kaufman served in, sadly losing his life on May 8, 1944 in France. He is buried in the Washington, KS cemetary.
