Maudie Weishaar, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Weishaar was born near Dayton, KS. Weishaar was a graduate of Hope High School in the class of 1940. She attended and graduated from the Halstead Hospital of nursing. She joined the reserve nurse corps during her training at Halstead.
