BIOGRAPHY

Jackson was born to Thomas and Goldie Carver on 16 January 1924. During his service, he was an auto repairman and he participated in the China Offensive. He received the following military qualifications: Driver, Mechanics Badge, and Expert with 22 Rifle. His awards included: European African Middle Eastern Service, American Theater Service, Asiatic Pacific Service, Distinguished Unit, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal. After his discharge, he was a jeweler and owned and operated Jack Carver's Jewelry in Great Falls, MT. His name is listed on the Veteran's Memorial in Great Falls, MT. He married the former Grace Olson on 29 October 1944. They had three children: Susan, James, and Janice.
