Edward J. Edwards was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Edwards Sr., of Blackburn, Missouri. Edwards Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas married Wretha Jaillite on September 6, 1941. Wretha's brother, Edgar Jaillite of Herrington, Kansas, gave her away at the wedding. They made their home in Parsons, Kansas. Mr. Edwards worked with Lincoln Life Insurance Company.
