Biography
Wayne Ayre was born near Talmage, Kansas, in 1920 to Mr. and Mrs. R C Ayre. He was married and had two children when he entered the Navy on March 5, 1945, and was living in Abilene, Kansas. Ayre did his naval training at Davisville, Rhode Island.
