Biography
Thomas ‘Buddy’ Swinehart was clearly loved by his mother Margaret Swinehart and my mother, Cecilia Bertrand. Having only been 21 when he was killed, he hadn’t the chance to grow up. He was musical and worked at Jenkins Music Store downtown Kansas City, Missouri as well as a caddy at various K.C. golf courses. He had a great sense of humor and liked to tease my mom with his quick wit.
