Biography
Nancy graduated from high school in 1941 and entered the University of Michigan College. From there, she joined WAVES. At boot camp, her testing showed high marks in teaching and being mechanical. She was placed teaching fighter pilots areal gunnery. After the war, she used the G.I. Bill to finish her college education.
