Biography
Gale Black attended Wichita East High, and, after graduation, he landed in the Army during World War II. He traveled across France in an EF Tank, encountering many battles with Patton’s 3rd Army. After the war, Black became a teller at Wichita Federal Savings and Loan, working up to president of the company.
