Staff Sergeant (Dr.) Dale Dean’s experiences in WWII read like an excerpt from a textbook. After enlisting following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Dean took an incredible journey across Europe, through the Battle of the Bulge, to a newly liberated concentration camp in Austria and nearly into the Pacific before the war finally ended.
