Biography

In North Africa he contacted a fever and was delayed 6 months before being sent to England. While preparing for Normandy Beach he was riding a motorcycle and was hit by an army truck. He was brought back to the U.S. in a full body cast to Winter General Hospital in Topeka, the summer of 1944. The rest was History. He met and married Nora Mae Stewart on April 18, 1946.
