At Home A Comparison of the Bookends of Ike’s America

In this collaborative program with the Eisenhower Foundation and the Eisenhower National Historic Site, students will examine the incredible changes that took place in America from the beginning to the end of Dwight Eisenhower’s life. The topics of transportation, media, and entertainment will be compared from the two places he called home – Abilene, Kansas and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
