Forecasting Victory

Program Length: 50 minutes

Using authentic weather maps, students analyze changing weather conditions on June 5 and 6, 1944, to develop evidence-based recommendations for General Eisenhower. Along the way, students discover how weather forecasting shaped one of history’s most important military decisions.
