Honoring the Past, Empowering the Future

The Eisenhower Foundation is stepping in the future with a new education center.

Today’s Students Need Ike’s Values More Than Ever.

In May 2026, we broke ground on a new 14,000-square-foot Education Center in Abilene, Kansas. It’s an immersive learning facility where young people will explore leadership, history, and civic responsibility through the example of Dwight D. Eisenhower. Watch the video to learn more about the center opening in summer 2027!

A Personal Message from Ike’s Granddaughter

“From a Kansas farm boy to Commander of Allied Forces, my grandfather’s story shows that leadership rooted in humility and service can change the world. The Eisenhower Education Center will bring that story to life—a place where students from across Kansas, the U.S., and the world will learn that the principles Ike lived by still matter today.”  — Mary Jean Eisenhower
