  1. Eisenhower Exhibits Now Located in Presidential Library

    May 14, 2018 - May 31, 2019 @ Library 2nd Floor Gallery

    While the Eisenhower Presidential Museum undergoes a comprehensive redesign, the exhibits will be located in the Presidential Library building. Visitors will see highlights of the life and times of Dwight D. Eisenhower from his boyhood in Abilene, Kansas, to his leadership development through both World Wars, and his two terms in the White House as the 34th President of the United States.

  1. "Sahara" - World War II film series

    June 24, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Visitors Center Auditorium

    Considered one of the best war films of its time, "Sahara" follows a stranded American tank unit that picks up British, French, and Sudanese soldiers, plus an Italian and a Nazi prisoner of war, as they trek across the desert in search of a legendary well at an abandoned fort. They find the fort, but the well has run dry, and a German battalion is headed their way. "Sahara" (1943) was filmed during World War II with stars Humphrey Bogart, Lloyd Bridges, Bruce Bennett, and Rex Ingram.
