  1. Eisenhower Exhibits Now Located in Presidential Library

    May 14, 2018 - May 31, 2019 @ Library 2nd Floor Gallery

    While the Eisenhower Presidential Museum undergoes a comprehensive redesign, the exhibits will be located in the Presidential Library building. Visitors will see highlights of the life and times of Dwight D. Eisenhower from his boyhood in Abilene, Kansas, to his leadership development through both World Wars, and his two terms in the White House as the 34th President of the United States.

  1. Symphony at Sunset - Annual D-Day Commemoration Concert

    June 2, 2018, 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Eisenhower Presidential Library campus

    The annual D-Day commemoration concert is a patriotic event to pay tribute to veterans and current military. Plan to spend the afternoon and evening on the beautiful campus of the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home in Abilene, Kansas. 1:00 p.m. - Pop-Up Museum: The public is invited to bring World War II artifacts, photos and memorabilia to share with visitors. Call Pam Sanfilippo at 785-263-6700 to register. (Note: Weapons are not permitted on federal property.) 4:00 p.m. - Military encampments, children's activities and food vendors open; 5 p.m. & 8 p.m. - Fort Riley Mounted Color Guard demonstration; 5:30 p.m. - Kansas Wesleyan Music Camp Recital, Visitors Center. From the Library steps: 5:30 p.m. - Everyday Lights concert; 7:00 p.m. - Fort Riley's 1st Infantry Division Band; 8:30 p.m. - Salina Symphony performance.
