  1. Eisenhower Exhibits Now Located in Presidential Library

    While the Eisenhower Presidential Museum undergoes a comprehensive redesign, the exhibits will be located in the Presidential Library building. Visitors will see highlights of the life and times of Dwight D. Eisenhower from his boyhood in Abilene, Kansas, to his leadership development through both World Wars, and his two terms in the White House as the 34th President of the United States.

  1. "Silver Wings/Flying Dreams - The Complete Story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots" Documentary

    June 12, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Visitors Center Auditorium

    This is the amazing true story of pioneering women, who for a brief moment in the darkest days of WWII, shattered the glass ceiling to become the first women to pilot American military aircraft. Surviving WASP relive their personal experiences and the challenges they faced while ferrying aircraft, flying as test and transport pilots, towing targets for anti-aircraft gunnery practice, and testing top-secret radio control aircraft, forerunners of the drones used today in 21st century warfare. They also bring to light their sixty-six year long struggle for recognition and veterans rights. Released in 2015, this award-winning documentary, examines a long-overlooked chapter in American history.
