Using World War II Army Unit Records in Family History Research

Tuesday, February 13, 2018

The Eisenhower Presidential Library has a vast collection of WWII Unit Records, and archivist Mary Burtzloff will discuss ways to use these records to aid family history research. These records may show locations of Army units during World War II and some of the situations encountered, enhancing understanding of the often untold experiences of veterans. This informative session is free and open to the public. Burtzloff graduated from Emporia State University's School of Library and Information Management. She worked at the National Archives in Kansas City before joining the Eisenhower Presidential Library archival staff in 2009.
