A big shout out to the Eisenhower Schools that celebrated Dwight D. Eisenhower's 125th birthday in 2016! Take a look at the students and staff on the left having a great time and passing on the legacy of Ike.
We hope that you will connect with IKEducation and other Eisenhower schools by participating in any of the following activities and sharing your photos or projects with us on Facebook @EisenhowerFoundation or email so we can post them on this site.
The Flat Stanley books by Jeff Brown have been entertaining young readers for years, while also starting a movement that has taught kids so much about geography and social studies. IKEducation wants to continue that effort, so we are offering a flattened version of the eleven-foot "Champion of Peace" statue of General Eisenhower that overlooks his Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home to your schools for an amazing adventure!
Just print out Flat Ike, take photos with him around your school or on vacation, and share them with any notes or descriptions that document his trip. We would love to post Ike's adventures!
